About Josh Eickmeier

I was born and raised in Seward and graduated from St. John Lutheran School and Seward High School. I then attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where I earned degrees in Journalism, Political Science, and Law. I spent a dozen years working for state senators in the Nebraska Legislature as a Legislative Aide and most recently as a Legal Counsel to two Committee Chairmen. I currently work as an executive director of a State agency. My education and experience in government, politics, and law have well-prepared me to tackle head-on the challenges of serving as your Mayor.
